Re: What movies have you seen recently?

I saw just one part of the original film after I saw Japanese version.
Lucy was completely different from Mika's. Ms Kristen Wiig's Lucy was an intelligent down-to-earth adult and yet sometimes mischievous woman. (Kristen-san is 40 years old...wow)
There's no knowing why they chose Mika (it's not 'Sony Pictures' this time^^), but Mika added her own character to Lucy and Mika's Lucy was sooo charming (made Lucy even more charming than the original image). Mika did a great job.

.............I'm glad to see Mika's name here. 8-)

the "original" version is the French one though :P

I haven't heard the English dubbed version yet, but I do feel, based on the few previews we got from Mika's footages, Lucy is portayed in a very different way :)
Audrey Lamy, Lucy's French voice, looks just like her, so it's difficult for me to think of anyone else doing Lucy's voice ahah

Saw the movie "Sanbun no Ichi" on Apr. 6.
Occupancy was also about "sanbun no ichi" (one third)... Not so bad for a Sunday afternoon.

Enjoyed very much!!! :P
The first image we could see among the cast in the movie was Mika's.
And the first voice we could hear among the cast in the movie was also Mika's.
We could easily know how much the director Shinagawa loved Mika just by seeing the opening of the movie!.

Mika did her role VERY very well throughout the whole film. In other words, Mika was perfect for the role. There are some who say (as usual) that she always reads lines in a monotone. Actually, when I closed my eyes and hearing her dialogue or her monologue during the movie, I felt like MIRAI or AKANE or NANA or RIE was speaking. Mika hadn't changed at all...as if she sticks to 'monotone performance'. But for us, at least for me, the way she's acting and speaking is really COMFORTABLE. Obviously, Yazawa Ai and Kudo Kankuro and this time, Shinagawa Hiroshi felt the same way.
Mika is Mika whenever and wherever. ;)

I won't refer to the story for fans who are gonna watch after this.
But I'd like to say one thing.....
The "JUMPING" scene may (must) become one of her best performances in her 'actress life'.... 8-)
